Support The Library
|
The Levi E. Coe Library is a not-for-profit organization. Contributions aid the library in providing materials and services to the Middlefield community. One hundred percent of the money we use to purchase books, DVDs, Audiobooks, and other materials comes from donations. Your support is vital to the library's continued growth and success. Adopt-A-BookRead about the Adopt-A-Book program here. Major Donor CampaignThis autumn campaign targets donors who contribute over 100 dollars each year. PhonathonEvery April volunteers call library card holders to request donations. This is the library's largest fundraiser. Annual AppealThe Annual Appeal is the library's yearly fundraising campaign. Requests for donations are sent to all library card holders who have not donated to any other fundraisers during the year. All donations are used to purchase books and materials. Peter Hewes Memorial FundThe Levi E. Coe Library is accepting donations to the Peter Hewes Memorial Fund. Donations will be used to purchase a variety of art books in Mr. Hewes’ memory. Inside each book will be placed a bookplate honoring Mr. Hewes. A longstanding member of the Library Association, Mr. Hewes carried a great love of the library and its care. He will always be remembered fondly in the hearts and minds of all library staff as well as the community. Leave a LegacyLeave a Legacy is a statewide public awareness effort to promote charitable giving through wills and estate plans. Every day, people from all walks of life leave charitable gifts in their wills. In doing so, they make a tremendous difference in the world today and the one they will leave behind. All it takes is a legal will—and the goodwill to make important charitable work live on forever. For assistance in making a charitable bequest contact your attorney or go to the Connecticut Council For Philanthropy website at www.ctphilanthropy.org for more information.
